You blokes not even being able to comprehend that maybe Manu was just making a tackle on Benji is classic anti ref/bunker/Rooster bias lol. Pretty standard call.

Rubbish, he played at the ball. His hand hit the ball flush and knocked it clean out lol

He definitely knocked the ball out. What I don't understand is how you can be "playing at the ball" if Benji passes that and Manu knocks it away in the act of making a tackle, but "just making a tackle" if you knock it out of his hand like that.

It's a very confusing thing for me too. It would reset the tackle count if it rolled to a tiger

Coach Maguire is going to curbstomp someone at halftime

Maybe he should focus on introducing some attacking structures because his team doesn’t appear to have a clue in the Roosters 10m zone. You can bang on about fitness and yell at your players til the cows come home, but there’s more to coaching than that.
