I'm inclined to tip the Tigers.

I do not have confidence in the outside backs in combination with the rocks or diamonds stuff from SJ and the rocks or footpath stuff from Townsend in the halves. I think the Tigers have a sneaky decent team that could surprise a fair few people.
This. When the Tigers get their top 17 to gel they will have lots of points in them. We saw a nice preview of their right side against the Warriors in the trials. I think the Xerri thing will be too much disruption for the Sharks and to me they lack that starch which helped them in tight games.

I'll go Tigers by 4. I like the look of their spine and personally I don't think they'll need that much time to gel. Brooks to be the difference.

Especially Brooks. A lot of people bag him including our own fans, but we would be even worse off without him

We got lucky with a bit of Benji magic combined with the mcwrecker effect in round 1, and 2 or 3 tries we scored against Newcastle were against the run of play (Nofa intercept, Knights dropped ball iirc)

BJ would have trained all off season with Brooks as his link man only for him to break down injured before round 1 and have Grub come in

Looking forward to seeing if the new rules bring the best out of Shaun Johnson. He could be the game-breaker in what should be an exciting game but Maguire will have the Tigers primed.

Hard to predict and we need the first tight one after four one-sided games to start this round.

Normally used to being a neutral watching BJ play footy, now he’s on my team it’s gonna be hard not to laugh when he f*cks up
