imagine someone had 22-6...
And they won $446 out of a pool of $20k.

My point is that if you had money on the 24-6 scoreline, you would have to expect that the regular and highly reliable kicker, Jarrod Croker would have had more than a good chance of putting it over after converting the first two tries from the sideline. But no, they gave it to someone who couldn't kick for shit. I would have been infuriated.

Green Machine fires in Melbourne
Josh Robertson | May 30 2020 9:46PM

The Raiders have kept their strong record at AAMI Park intact, as a starring effort from George Williams helped the Green Machine to an 22-6 defeat of the Melbourne Storm.

Canberra were quick to take advantage of the new rules and began mounting pressure early and it took just five minutes for them to get on the board when returning hero Jordan Rapana was able to cross thanks to Jack Wighton and Jarrod Croker drawing in the defence. The Raiders' captain was able to convert from out wide right of the posts.

The impact of English signings has been big on Canberra and Williams has quickly made his name, especially after tonight with some cracking plays. The Raiders added their second try when Williams was able to throw a magnificent ball that found Nick Cotric on the chest to score in the left-hand corner. Croker was able to again extend the lead with an excellent conversion from the left touchline.

Eat a big bag of dicks Paul Kent.... claiming the storm wouldnt lose at home all year HA! The cap rorting purple pricks were shit tonight.... hoping they play like that every week.
Lots of good raiders tonight, but i was most impressed with George Williams.

And how on earth do Fox they justify bringing Hooper into the post-game discussions alongside thinkers like Cooper Cronk & Michael Ennis ? WTF would he know ?

If he misses he misses. And what if the try was under the posts...but the chances of him not missing are narrowed. Either the same kicker is the one who kicks the goals, or people will not gamble if that continues because a lot of money is backed on these games. And its not only pick the score that people have their money on. Just hope the media don't jump on the idea that the players had a bet.

Didn’t think much of Curtis Scott when he signed. Seems like an arrogant wanker but f**k he can defend.
