So technically, because there was a penalty for the high tackle, everything after that doesn’t count, because play stops at that incident. So there was no knock-on to rule, and it should have been a Tigers play the ball.

Ask the refs boss mate. What I’m saying is because they challenged the high shot, and were exonerated, everything else is ignored. So the lost ball probably should have been too, but it can’t, hence the challenge system can fail.

The “high“ shot was just a trailing wrist and hand to the neck. Yes it’s high but not worth a penalty. Most of the impact was to Doeys upper torso.
