Pretty much where Parra’s season should have finished. Despite some consistency during the year and eking out tight wins but always looked overmatched against the remaining four teams and the chooks and often looking physically dominated.

They put up a fight in both finals games but not good enough

Eels usually bow out by not turning up but tonight they had a real dig, Moses miss was a big play but I think Souths win regardless. Having back up wingers when they are crucial to your go forward doesn't help.

If Eels turn up with that attitude next year with a bit more luck who knows. Paulo was a freak tonight and unlucky Gutho he was playing like a man possessed first half.
