So poss, these “back room deals which need to be honoured” have been mentioned by you for quite some time now..

To the point that they’ve seemingly been in place since before the WIN buyout.

So it seems to me that St George are the ones who have done the deals.

This needs to be stopped (I think you’ll agree).

The best way for that to happen is for St George hand over their share of the licence to Illawarra.

In return, Illawarra can give St George the Steelers club. St George can remain a feeder club for the Illawarra Dragons as well as operating a nice leagues club just across the road from Fortress WIN.

A more likely scenario is St George Leagues Club buying WIN’s interest in the JV from WIN’s liquidator for $2 which is about the amount each parties shares are worth with the current board of directors in charge.

Well golly gosh , gee f##king wiz ! Euan believes he shall find the form that almost - almost took him to an origin series .

The buffoon has been hanging around McGregor so long now he thinks that- almost - is good enough . This fellow has had more time in the top grade doing an abysmal job at center that if he hasn’t made it by now then he never will .

A most remarkable change in form is the only thing that should warrant a new contract for him and I mean all season long , not only a handful of games .

At the end of season 2020 will be the opportunity that the Dragons have of clearing out the dead-wood , so the only new contracts offered should be for players who can perform at their very best . No more ‘ carry-overs ‘ they can all join the maestro elsewhere .

Occasionally I manage to watch Molly Meldrum’s ‘ Countdown ‘ and it is great to see some of the early Aussie bands and just how they - and ourselves dressed back in the 60’s & 70’s . AC-DC with Scott Bonner or Bonn Scott the lead singer and the young guitarist wearing the shorts and school cap . The bands played some great music back then and also wrote their own songs.

But there was a clip last week with the ‘ Ol 55 ‘ band with Frankie J Holden and Molly asking him a few questions whilst at the same time placing his hand on Holdens thigh , which you could see annoyed the hell out of Frankie .

Finally Frankie had had enough and turned to dearest Molly and said with the most sweetest smile that you could ever hope to see “ if you don’t stop playing the piano on my thigh I will hit you so hard that you will need to undo your fly to see where you are going “ . A true Aussie classic was Frankie J Holden , I believe that he was never invited back to Molly’s show again ?

How do SGI get it so wrong? We extend Aitken and Lafai long term even after some very poor form and even when no other club was interested in signing them. Well as it turns out, we are still paying a huge price. This centre pairing would have to be the worst in the competition and soacking up a huge portion of our back 5 allocated salary cap.

Yet some on here believe the SGI pathways/recruiting/retention staff are doing a fine job! I say sack Mary and Millward and employ professionals in their place. Have all of football either come under a Director of football or the new head coach where the buck for all decisions should stop.

Now, obviously Lomax will he the #1 choice, however, considering its the first time he will be playing fullback (very demanding physically) and taking kicks, can he maintain a rate above 80%?
And what if he is injured, who is the backup, Lafai?
I cant see Sailor in the top 17 each week and Sullivan wouldnt be.available until after June 30.
So maybe it will fall to Luke or Norman as the backup, spare me days!!!
