We win nothing with the halfback this year. Zip.

SJ was bought to run. On the back of a team going forward. He is being forced to organise and that brings him undone.
Couldnt do it at warriors. Cant do it now. But he is getting the ball with 12 teammates standing flat because the halfback goes in only 2 directions:
Sideways.
Backwards.

Chad is actually worse than last year.
More predictable.
More repetitious.

Thay sideways jog where he lays it back to a runner...it is actually slower than last year.
Unbelievable but true.
He actually lays it off ar least 10 metres before the line allowing the line to set and smash the runner.
If he at least made the same play at the line he would drag at least one defender off the runner.
The fact a first grade 7 is still running this play in 2020 is incredible.
The fact hia coach doesn't hook him is worse.

Chad has no attack in him.
No urgency.
Displays no threat.
His kicks build no pressure.
None.
They are simply kicks to be caught and returned to the 40 metre line.

Theres not a side in the comp that could threaten for points with this guy in their 7 shirt.

How about the first half where he received the ball on one side of the field then crabbed all the way over to the touchline and popped it to Ronnie with nowhere to go. Fmd i cant believe nobody shot out of the line and annihilated him.
