Here is a clue, Will is wearing yellow boots and a three day growth, the other no1, who does well at right wing for the last 10 minutes is not Kennnedy.

It was two reserve grade teams for the most of it.
Manly were absolute rubbish.. even then there were still in with 10 to go.

I never mentioned a new halfback, I just stated he made some basic school boy errors, similar to what he has been doing for years. I think you will find if you ask any player, whether it is a trial or not they will still want to play well. Happy for him to be given the first shot at halfback, but if his trial/9's form is anything to go by he might be in trouble.

I'm a big Kennedy fan and I'm wrapped he'll get first shot at fullback....little bit of Peachy/Barba in him creativity wise imo. Still has a lot to learn but plenty of upside.

Chad was fine

A couple of average kicks.
Those bombs early were on purpose.
Sun and wind - you put up a bomb and hope they drop it.
His defence was great as always
Had sironen run at him on the line 2 or 3 times and he stopped him.
He threw the cut out pass to Katoa that created the break just before half time.
Then we scored next set off his kick.
Look at connors first try
Williams busts the tackle and passes to Connor.
If he looked left Chad was backing up unmarked too.

What errors
The one kick that went dead was the only error I could see.
The kick that went back still found touch.
Is that called an error... even though the wind did it.
The ball was blowing off the kicking tee too.

Trindall is reserve grade and wades a back rower on the edge. Chad shouldnt be even with them in thus area he should be showing how its done.

The try off his kick - it rebounded. That put it on a course where it was dangerous enough for us to score.
If he doesnt kick it straight into some blokes head it probably lands on the grandstand.

Kicked it up high in the gale with the sun straight in the blokes eyes.

Pretty sure kicking the ball high so the suns in the fullbacks eyes stops at under 11s.

All champion halfbacks know - and kick accordingly - that its the chase that makes a kick a good one or not.

Chad bombs...no sharkie was getting near them yesterday. A clean catch for the fullback - even without sunglasses. Except for the one that fortunately ricocheted off the dudes head.

His kicks in goal..no sharkie getting near them either to trap a defender as they roll too long.
