Should the Panthers move some games from BlueBet stadium ( 16K) to Bankwest (30 K) ?

No wouldn't work. The club has set themselves up as a regional team moving games wouldn't result in any higher crowds.

Take the next game. 6pm on Friday night v Sharks that gets no more than 10k if moved

Penrith belong in Penrith!
BankWest doesn’t deserve to have them!

I suppose Parramatta fans might turn up to see a decent team play instead of their mob!

For many fans east of Penrith wouldn't Bankwest be a similar distance? As long as the game was a Saturday early evening game or Sunday afternoon would it be that big a hardship for fans to get there to experience a packed out state of the art stadium 2-3 times a season?

A younger supporter base. Lots of families attend playing local means it is easier to attend between stuff.

Parramatta traffic is horrible on a Saturday. Even more so since the Light rail is being constructed there is no way you do it under 90 mins or so.

After running around with kids shopping, sport etc. the last thing you want is to spend an hour plus going to the footy.

The club has a waiting list for sponsorship/corporate area. If it was better the club would of done it already.

Better to average 16k at Penrith then 13-14k at Bankwest. Especially with the Leagues Club across the road

Sould get closer to 13/14k at AAMI.
6pm games on a Friday in Mlebourne aren't so bad as the ground is very easily accessible

Would have liked more at AAMI but atmosphere was still good
3 home games in a row, this one was always going to struggle for numbers. 10k is still below par, next one is just before Origin - not sure if this will help or not.

We seem to be having a covid hangover with crowds being well down so far this year for a number of games.
I suspect this is at least partially due to the fact that there are still a good number of people terrified of catching Covid, it’s been drilled into them during the lockdowns. I’ve got mates who won’t even go to the movies yet, let alone a stadium.

In any case, atmosphere at the games has been fantastic, even if last night’s first half can be used by doctors as a cure for insomnia...

But the 80000 at MCG didn't think so...you think the Storm be on 20000 before covid by now.

Sate of Origin 2 at Suncorp has nearly sold old without a fire sale. Only a few bays to go before restricted view and sections held back for group bookings are released.

The first half was the better half from a neutral perspective. Very competitive and the Sharks should have led by more. The Storm were quite ruthless in the second though and the Sharks collapsed as they have been prone to doing so I can see why Storm fans would have enjoyed it.
