I have no problem with the goatee, but adding the dragon is horrid. And they haven’t even used the dragon from the shield, but the cartoony NRL one.

Classic has been very good at taking a solid design and finding a way to butcher it. Whether it is placing logos too low or too high or not lining up lines across panels, they seem to find a way to make one think "that doesn't quite look right".

Hopefully now with new owners those 1% will be addressed in the final product, but the fact they still can't even get their logo right (which is meant to be a kangaroo and a football), doesn't inspire one with confidence.

You’re right. Why wouldn’t they use the dragon from the shield instead of the stylised one?

And for mine the goatie looks out of proportion

I wouldn’t mind if we lost the goatee either. Go back to that 70’s-00’s look. Last time we had the full V, it looked more like a U with the shoulder marks.

The V is too long vertically - that's why it looks weird. The sponsor logo usually cuts across the full red part of the V.

Difficult to tell what it is but it doesn't look like the 9s logo unless if there's a new logo for next year. Everyone on the Facebook group this was originally posted in, including the guy who spotted it thinks it's the alternate and it looks like it could be paired with white shorts
