Seven years incident free should completely wipe out a grade 1 fine, IMHO.

First Angus Crichton the other week, now Koloamatangi. Absolute rubbish charges for nothing incidents and only serves to encourage players to game more penalties. MRC has lost the plot.

The base penalty for a grade 1 crusher is way too harsh.

The base points were upped for when crushers used to be when the defender left their feet and landed down with their weight. It's absolute rubbish that we now charge defenders for the attackers turning in the tackle and a split-second of pressure.

That is definitely a grade 2, at minimum. There's 3 games.

I'm not sure how priors work (I note he has 20 carry over points), but if they come into play when adding points to his coming charge, he's probably looking at 4 weeks.
