It might have started as the women in league round jersey, but it hasn't represented really in a long time, sure we wore it against the Cowboys last year, but it was labelled as our Alternate jersey, not the AWAY or WIL like most other teams, im fairly sure the merchandise folk at Penrith are just happy to affiliate the team and the Famous Pink Panther, thats pretty much it, plus it sells a thousand times better than that boring old white jersey would ever do, for simply 2 reasons, women and kids love pink, and its a fun color, not a monochrome jersey
I think thats also whats so good about the licorice all sorts, its generally black, but then has a flash/hint of rainbow through it (Not exactly a rainbow, but colorful enough) it works as its not a boring 2 color stripes jersey like souths or parra, and has an african/jamacian theme in its colors.
Anyway im a fan of the pink, purely coz no team wears it better than us, and we are slowly being nicknamed the pink panthers because of it, which is better than the old melty chocolate soldiers

Not much to do with WIL any more.
A good WIL jersey for us would be the black with the stripes in Purple, White and Green. These colours represent the flag of the suffragette movement. Women starved themselves to death for the right to vote ( amongst other things ). Make it actually mean something other than "girls wear pink".

They do a heap of shortish run odd flavours. Jaffa, Chockito, Redskins among others. Cinnamon donut was horrid. lol. Give me Chocolate, Strawberry or Banana any day.
