I know thats your pissweak attempt to land a blow, but it's not a bad analogy. Just like clouds, your posts are totally lacking in substance.

Jim! he cant see it mate!

How about me and you go into the "Reminders of your childhood" Thread and have a good old reminisce about something stupid..... it's much happier in there..

I've got no problem with people disagreeing with my opinions or ideas, most do lol. He's just an abusive idiot who adds nothing to a discussion and posts personal abuse, ignore is the online equivalent of walking away from the loud mouthed idiot in the pub!

Mate you do cop an absolute floggin' in here and I've never really understood why. And that's not having a go at anyone, just an observation.

Who knows, one day he may grow a pair. He can then send a couple of days catching up on how everything he puts forward just gets shot down in flames.

haha, because I dare challenge the status quo paradigms, and I dont live in Sydney. Lieke I said I don't mind if people dont agree with me and want to engage in why they think my ideas are wrong, that make sfor interesting debate, its tossers like Jim who just fling out personal insults like some keyboard hero I cant abide and I wont derail every thread by engaging with.

Just your usual afternoon of shit-flinging on the LU forums...

It seems a little inappropriate to actually talk through some stats now after all that entertainment!

Waiver: Picking an absolutely arbitrary starting point to suit my argument here, and completely failing to take account of who everyone played. I'm just enjoying Souths time in the sun while I can.

Anyway, ever since the "Dubbo Debacle" for Souths in Round 11, here are the results of the Top 6 teams (so Rounds 12-Finals Week 1):

RankTeamPlayedWonLostWin%For (Avg)Against (Avg)Diff
1Rabbitohs1413193%512 (36.6)211 (15.1)+301
2Storm1413193%485 (34.6)192 (13.7)+293
3Sea Eagles1410471%501 (35.8)286 (20.4)+215
4Panthers1410471%322 (23.0)218 (15.6)+104
5Roosters1410471%355 (25.4)332 (23.7)+23

I heard (happy to be backed up with stats from others if known) that the Rabbitohs would have won the minor premiership in the last decade with their premiership points accumulated this year (ie scored more than the minor premiers in in previous seasons). Perhaps even more than 10 years...

So wasn't all that huge a surprise they went so well on the weekend.

Since the NRL began in 1998, in a 24-games-per-team season, only 2007 (Melb cheating) and 2019 (on for and against), would we have not finished minor premiers.

This season was just odd.

The roosters 16 wins would have been good enough to make the top 4 in every single season in the NRL era except for the first (1998) when there were 20 teams, a lot of which were absolute trash.

Geez, lucky the Dragons keep getting off to a flyer. I've never understood why the grand final isn't played in April.
