Don’t get the hate for Penrith. They run their club properly, full of mostly local kids and say what you like about the cleary’s but look at some of the absolute grubs in Melbourne’s side. Munster. Smith. Grant. Welch. All absolute filthy dirty players.

It’s not their players (well some of them actually). It’s their fans. I know some absolute f**kwits that are panthers fans and their tears make me happy.

The refs could call them every set for a 6 again.
If they had the balls.
Ain't happening

Finucane has been immense. So much purpose and intensity in his play. Our forwards won't know what hit them once he starts driving them at training

I can't remember 2 more arrogant tools as the Cleary's.

Ivan in particular after the way he screwed th Tigers over and sits there all year like he is entitled to the premiership. Bellamy or Bennet had that squad and I doubt they lose a game all year.

im looking forward to playing Melbourne next year. We need to measure ourselves against them. To me they are gold standard . Across the board, coaching and recruitment, the whole box and dice .We need to reach that standard.

The club is obviously trying to head in that exact direction. They went in hard for Bellyache. They got Fitz, who has been in a similar system at The Roosters, for a very long time. They bought The Storms Captain, and one of their best young players.
They will be measuring dont you worry

Every day and twice on Sunday.
Comments about coach are spot on - if I was a tigers fan I’d be upset as well, among other things. Ask any sharks fan what they think of Chris Anderson and it would be the similar feeling.

Melbourne bullied him and he couldn't handle it.
Which is exactly what I said we should do when we played them weeks ago - everytime he gets tackled, make sure you make the most of it, rough him up, facials, grab his bollocks, whatever - just make sure he knows that if he wants to have a million touches in game, we’ll be trying to hurt him a million times. They roughed him up on the 1st tackle and he bottled it for the rest of the game. It’s also helped by how Melbourne control the ruck - Turbo is deadly on the back of a quick ptb with a retreating defence, you just simply are not given that opportunity against Melbourne, they’re way too clinical in every single tackle.
