Another joke sin binning. Cowboys left it too late to make a run and deserve to lose for letting Woods stroll through. That was a great win for the Sharks, but that last 10 minutes was terrible game management.
Had a good game, 2 weeks in a row nowIs it just me, or is Jesse Ramien's career a bit suspended at the moment? Touted as something big, but he hasn't really progressed since going to the Knights
It won them the game.Taking the two in a game with f**k all defence is just so dumb
I reckon that's why we signed Townsend. Dearden can learn from Townsend then become his successor in 2 or 3 years. There’s a good player there but he’s a few years away
I hope Tolman didn't lie down on purpose to get the penalty/sin bin. He was bleeding, but it looked like he milked. Smart move for his team, but it's unsportsmanlike. Blame PVL for bringing this black and white rule in.
We can't whinge about the result of the game though. Cronulla were more polished and took their opportunities.
In the old days, players would get up and play the ball, regardless of whether they were bleeding. Now they're all lying down playing for the penalty if there's slight contact with the head or back of neck. The guy was bleeding, he clearly got whacked. To suggest he was milking it a load of BS.
Was it a sin bin, probably not but it's still contact with the head so should be a penalty. Until the NRL adds a caveat about accidental contact when a player is falling etc then those kind of things will still happen.
