he missed the ball by the skin of its leather.
he's not playing at the legs or attacking the legs... but i get it, that action breaks dudes legs in half, can end careers... i understand it and i know why it's there... but i dont agree with legislating EVERY risk out of the game. I think that's a clean play that has some unfortunate risks... welcome to contact sport.

The problem is that if he does charge the ball down the contact is fine therefore the contact itself can't possibly be the issue.

How on earth did they give Teddy MOTM, Teddy tried hard but I think even he'd admit it was his best game especially in terms of red zone execution

Bwandy and Gronk fellating Teddy, he had some nice touches but i reckon he bombed about 5 scoring opportunities by over playing his hand.

It was some Paul Gallen hogging.

The way they're talking him up you'd think he was the only Roosters player to take the field tonight.

Rhys Kennedy dropping the ball on the first tackle just killed us. Klein your an epic joke.

Agree it should have been a penalty; the guy got him across the face. Its a penalty every day of the week. The process though needs to be looked at; the events that led to the right decision were manufactured.

Must admit I thought the previous play was over when the tackle was called held, not when the ball was played?
Agree. This has set a dangerous precedent that if you want something checked on the previous play, you just give away a deliberate penalty to stop the play.

The fact that they had to look at the tackle a number of times shows that it was a very tough call either way.
The contact made was minimal and I’m sure we’ll see similar incidents in future in which the Bunker will clear the contact.
Whichever call was made, there was going to be people disagree with it.
