How do I get the sinking feeling that tonights' events will have negative repercussions for every other team in the finals bar the Storm?

Either Souths will go into siege mode and knock off any other team (Penrith, Manly) that had some chance of beating Melbourne in the GF

Or they will be the team Melbourne get to play in the preliminary while PENRITH find a way to get beaten by some other underdog side who play their GF a week early and then face Melbourne in the GF underdone
