After those updates for the first game I have finished on 934 so not the best round and I’ve lost around 1000 places so just outside the top 4000.

Avo, Davey, Turpin, Lam let me down.

Have to flick Davey off but only have 33k spare so my options will be limited.

I’m a bit bummed now that I didn’t get Alvaro.

I think Turpin and Lam are holds and I shouldn’t panic on them but they’re frustrating me a bit!

I will need your advice for sure this week @Souths Till I Die @callmack1.

Whats the go with the Jet is he only out for one week?

Ill have to look around and see what the go is with Schuster. If he's playing then he's straight into my team and then im gonna try and loop Lam maybe.

Alvaro might be one of those players that we miss the boat on. Not a huge deal.

I, for one, am pretty happy with that week Fantasy wise. I scored 994 and bet a celebrity team for the first time ever! Bet Chris Kennedy's team! Pretty happy with that as it doesn't happen often!

R20 was urging me to go with Davey, but my gut was telling me Alvaro. That turned out to be a good decision.

So I got pretty lucky over the weekend.

I could go Schuster to Davey and Turpin to Jackson but do we think it’s too early to sell Turpin and that he will come good?

Re Jackson do we think L. Thompson coming back soon and pushing Hetho to the bench will mean Jackson goes back to 65mins rather than 80mins?

Jordan Riki just pulled away from a tackle on Matt Lodge clutching his right wrist. It’s already strapped but it’s clearly giving him discomfort still. He is still out on field training but this could be the last thing the Broncos need.

I think Turpin will come good, we'll probably end up a keeper, so I'd go Davey to Alvaro. get on him while he's still cheap!!

Riki will be fine apparently.

Mate I think Lam has to be on the chopping block. He's clearly not playing the role Flanagan played at the roosters which was 1. Dominating Kicking, 2. Making more tackles because he was playing on the right side (attacking teams love to go left because its easier to pass right to left 3. Not goal kicking.

Lam doesn't have the base stats to even come close to a keeper half and I dont expect him to suddenly pile on attacking stats even when Angus returns as Angus creates a lot of his own opportunities without the help of his halves.

For me Lam was only good value playing on that right side and doing more kicking but he's not going to give you that value so f**k him off.

The roosters are kidding themselves if they think Luke Keary will be a dominant half that leads them to success. He will always be a running 5/8th.

At this stage of the season you have to be making trades to maximise your cash generation.

Im picking up Schuster this week. Schuster is a gun player who is eventually going to force his way into the manly 13.

He's definitely big enough to play second row and hold his own.

That Parker to Second row talk is Des playing mindgames. Parker is an outside back through and through.

Another way to look at it is Gosie was originally dropped for Davey so there's every chance Schuster either keeps his starting second row spot or Foran gets injured and he plays 5/8th.

Parker taking his minutes shouldnt be a consideration though. I give it a 10% chance of happening.

I'm just trying to focus on not throwing the whole thing in the bin! Cleary and Paps not playing plus a few underperformers. Looks like I'll have Averillo and Moylan in the halves......dear Lord take me now.

Honestly you can go Alvaro if you want but he's not gonna average 50's. I highly doubt he'll even average 40's.

Plus Schuster has that all important half dpp.

I think he will average low 40’s. If he averages 35 the next 3 weeks he makes 90k.

Yeah im flicking Lam this week.

Look theyre both good trade in options. Personally im going with Koloa but Davey seems like a very popular option as well. I just don't want to trade in another bench forward after trading Leniu in. 90k is not enough.
