If Sua goes who cares? He will be a bust like Knight. He has done NOTHING to show otherwise. Completely disappeared every time we play Melbourne, not just talking about last week, completely disappeared against Penrith in the qualifier last season.

Goodbye
Sua can be damaging as he was against canberra, i wrote the stats after that game,i think it was 165m 35 tackles, now thats not bad, the effort at the club is gagai looks to be sacrificed to keep sua, i dont know if the reynolds money will enable us to keep both. Sua by far is young and has 5 teams after him, cowboys broncos stgeorge tigers cronulla manly the list goes on, we need to keep him he has that mongrell ability, he will further develop, thats the reason we got moga to take gagais spot

Moga will be gone at end of the year too. He is off contract and has shown nothing to warrant keeping. We need to bring in fit and energetic young up and comers to boost our backline depth... we can’t keep trying to gamble on the hope broken players will get better

Again, you are hoping against hope, Sua has been missing in almost every major game, against the real contenders, Souths has been involved in that he has played.
You've been criticizing Knight (which I agree with), and this is a very similar circumstance.
Let all those clubs go into a bidding war for him. We do not want to pay overs for him, we are already in cap trouble, this would be disastrous IMO

Better yet, start bringing up kids from the lower grades and give them an opportunity. We don't need them to be stars, we only need them to be capable.

Agreed. Sua isn't worth what it'd cost to keep him. The way the attack is structured, Souths don't need attacking weapons in the back row, they need defensive reliability. Something Sua is far from.

I know that Demetriou is taking over next season but i would love to see the club go after Daryl Powell from Castleford. He has been an outstanding coach over there, turning Cas into an outfit capable of competing with their big 3. I would be really intrigued to see what he can do with a transition club with the resources that Souths have.

Agree that it would be good to retain Su'a but the problem is that we need outside backs more than forwards atm.

Moga has missed a big opportunity to impress and maybe secure another contract by getting suspended at this point in time.

100% agree, ive said it many times were is our recruiment? Why are we not plundering other clubs 18/19 year olds. The last was paulo and everyone can see why GC let him go. Moga could be alot better he isnt fit enough

Why spend extra on juniors from other clubs when we should have our own?

Agreed, especially after what we saw last week, granted our whole starting right side defense was missing, but our depth was tested, and found wanting atm
That game against the storm was such a shambles on Souths part that I didn't take anything from it, felt sorry for Hawkins to have to make his run-on debut in that game.

Trav, my understanding from what others have said is that we just don't have the quality of juniors that we've had in the past.

I don't know if it's that we don't have the quality coming through or if we're not giving them the opportunities but I've been one to question why we don't have more lower grade talent coming into the first grade squad.

It is the BS and lies that will piss off paying members. I don’t believe this one year deals talk for over 30 year olds. The members are the lifeblood of the club we get told and yet we get lied too! Solly is a snake.

We've got some coming through, Brock Gardner, Davvy Moale, Blake Taaffe, Lachlan Ilias for example.

Haven't heard of Moale, what's the word?
I hope that in future seasons there are more juniors filling the squad. They don't have to be guns. Guys like Hiroti and Talakai would offer as much to the squad as Paulo and Cartwright do and probably for less of a cap hit.
