Who cares? Why compare a GF against a prelim? We could compare both competitions Saturday prelims, both pulled similar numbers. 1.678 Million for NRL 1.564 Million for AFL

Agreed, channels put their top programs on Sunday to try and out-rate other regular programs. A one off event like the GF should not need to worry about casual viewers as everyone should ideally already know when the GF is. A Saturday also allows more children to watch later, which is always who we should be targeting most

Melbourne and particularly Brisbane were disappointing considering it was the first they hosted it.

Hopefully Kayo figures will have the NRL edge ahead of the AFL.
