Those are very good numbers Phillip.1.678 Million last night for the 2nd prelim
with streaming we'd be around 1.9 Million
last years sat prelim attracted 1.271 Million
so last night was a 407K increase
bringing the final series total increase on 2020 to over 2.2 million without streaming .... probably over 3 million with it.
very good numbers

but they're not as obvious in lockdown with people at home on saturday night as much as sundaysWe’ll know more after our GF, 2 Melbourne sides V 2 Sydney sides, both in prime time on the east coast, both cities in lockdown, only difference is Saturday night V Sunday night, Sunday always rates higher for obvious reasons.

Agreed, channels put their top programs on Sunday to try and out-rate other regular programs. A one off event like the GF should not need to worry about casual viewers as everyone should ideally already know when the GF is. A Saturday also allows more children to watch later, which is always who we should be targeting mostLol
Sunday night is also up against other top rating shows .
Sat night is a dead ratings period .
Crap shows .
So not much competition for a GF.
Melbourne and particularly Brisbane were disappointing considering it was the first they hosted it.pretty significantly it seems
ratings very underwhelming
only 1.119 Million in sydney
some streaming to be added on nine go
