It wouldnt be the first time Nine have claimed GEM are included and not included them properly - Ive been telling you this for some time - but given metro cutoff was 290 on oztam, its more likely a typo in the Nine release, as if the NRL reached 330 odd it would be in the metro top 20 and viewable on tvtonight/blackbox/mediaspy and others.

Probably.

the NRL needs 1.668m viewers from todays match to catch the AFLs week 1 FTA/Fox STB ratings (just under the 2019 Roosters/Storm Prelim ratigs). The AFL also achieved 735,000 in streaming for week 1, with NRL data still to come. And Christ alone knows what NZ is.

What’s with nrl fans in Sydney? 633k watching afl in melbourne whilst Sydney could only muster 266k. Sydney fans really don’t like manly and Storm lol
afl killed us in that head to head game.

a prelim final involving 2 melb afl sides against our week one final involving one sydney side ??

ever heard the term
apples V apples ?

a fairer comparison will be an all sydney prelim which we will get in 2 weeks
with souths v manly/roosters,
now that will rate .

Better but why wouldn't you have a game on Fri night and one on sunday to avoid all together?

hardly a ratings catastrophe
instead of getting 150K in Melb with clean air , they'd of got 50K up against the AFL GF
the NRL would still have taken veiwers in NSW & QLD away from their decider & probably a lot more then 100K too

for the life of me
I don't know why the NRL didn't play the storm prelim on the friday night ( nothing on down there ) & play the all sydney prelim on the saturday at the scheduled time of 7.50

its absolute madness they didn't do this
