Probably... Horses for courses. If he comes up against a fleet footer on a dry track, Marata might not be the best guy for that situation. Waqa though has no mortgage on the spot IMO that's for sure

We’ve persevered with a fast centre for almost two years for the same result. He was troubled most weeks by average centres.

There doesn’t seem to be panic now on the edge with Marata there. He’s been brilliant these past two weeks.

Yes Sharks had excuses however their injuries were mostly from the eels putting on a huge physical effort mid way during the first half. Sharks really struggled with in.

Game was great for first 20mins. After that was a cripple fight. Parra ran over them in last 10 once they ran out of gas.
Marata was exposed when Sharks had full side. We had 70% ball in 2nd half. I wouldn't want him marking Roberts.

Our backline needs some speed. Sivo is by far the slowest winger in comp. Guth would be one of the slower fullbacks. You won't stop sides with a lot of speed. They will tear you apart.

Anyhows 3 from 3. Great start. Forwards are the ones doing the job at moment. Get the backs firing and we are going to give the comp a shake. If not we will make finals and won't be able to fire many shots.

Just like Canberra earlier, they’ll be ripe for the picking in the last 20. If we are good enough to weather the first 20 if this half where they’ll come with energy, we’ll win by 13+
