There a lot of byes there have a loot at flegg pretty sure no one’s playing

The reason they have all these byes is so that all teams play the same number of games. This would be simple if you had 22 rounds with 5 games and one team having a bye, but in order to maintain consistency with the NRL the draw is 110 games over 24 rounds so while most rounds are normal there are a few where a lot of teams have to have byes in order that everyone plays the same number of games - unfortunately 2 of the odd rounds have been scheduled for late July. To override the draw as it exists would destroy the integrity of the competition. There a lot of byes there have a loot at flegg pretty sure no one’s playing
Loose the bye rounds all together and play every weekend and get the standardThe reason they have all these byes is so that all teams play the same number of games. If the clubs believed that the players getting only 18 games plus finals in a season as opposed to 20 is such a crisis, they could seek approval for some non competition games in those weeks, but that is not going happen because the clubs do not agree with you.
Loose the bye rounds all together and play every weekend and get the standard up which is a flow on effect to first grade and the blow out scores were seeing.
Mate, they're declared results. They won't reschedule it. Let it go.round 20 is a bye round for the entire comp let’s hope NSWRL reschedule a make up make up game for this round. A COVIDdraw doesn’t develop first grade players.
I'd hope the "next time" and "measures" are the incompetent twits in Canberra not screwing up the vaccine rollout that our 2022 competitions are still impacted by COVIDMy query was regarding why the women couldn't play without crowds so the finals could run as scheduled. COVID protocols are the reason why [after looking into it]. I stand by the disappointment that both teams are eliminated due to something completely out of their control, which is a shame for the competition. I would hope that if there ever is a next time, there are some other measures put in place to prevent this from happening again.
Lose the bye rounds all together and if no games get postponed, you either have the competition finishing unnecessarily early or a big gap between competition and finals.Loose the bye rounds all together and play every weekend and get the standard
It's Central Coast's comp to lose, for sure, but the fact that St Marys and Wests Tigers were denied the chance to even have a say in the matter, due to circumstances beyond their control, is a sore spot. Could've done the games without a crowd until COVID-protocols like the men? I mean, they managed it with the Origin game.
Sounds a bit pessimistic - Sydney has had 500 cases over the last 3 weeks, at its worst last year Melbourne had 700 per day. July looks like a write off but you would have to believe that Finals will be happening in September.By the looks of it , it’s highly unlikely that any footy will be played again this year.
Are competitions still being played else where?
Illawarra,Newcastle,Qld etc ?
There was only 6 mins to go and North's ruined their own destiny the following week by blowing the game against St Marys that they should have won. The only team to feel sorry for are Cronulla as they along with Mounties and Central Coast are the only 3 teams that could have possibly won the comp.Think how sore North Sydney are in the womens. They had their game against Glebe called off due to the sprinklers coming on at the NSWRL centre of excellence. They were up 32-0 with 15 minutes to go against a 12 player Glebe side. They missed the finals by 11 points on for and against. No doubt they would of run in at least those 11 points and more and the Tigers wouldn't have made it at all.
Yeah I agree. Nor any other footy for that matterI would expect that the NSW Cup will be not resume until the NRL squads come back to Sydney.
