Is it safe to assume Cabramatta are back in either comp this year after last year's withdrawal?

Only 3 of the 11 RMC teams did not withdraw last year. Cabra trialled against St Marys last week. They are training tomorrow, while some SS guys play in the 9's and next week Cabra play Wests.

Wenty 28 Hills 22 in RMC
Wenty 22 Hills 22 in SS

Ryde Eastwood 24 Wests 16
Glebe 20 Blacktown 8

Charlton Schaafhausen was playing for Wenty after being listed in the Parramatta squad that played the socalled NRL trial on Thursday night so the link between Parra and Wenty must still be in place. I find it very strange that the Eels sent their Flegg squad to Windsor to assist that club, who play parra's associates, Wenty, next week.

Another Guildford player, Dylan McKeown, appears to be at Hills but he may be sidelined for a while. The contraption on his arm may have resulted from an injury last week.

David Gower warmed up for Hills but took no part in the game.

Several guys that played SS with Ryde Eastwood last year, were included the Tigers squad that played the Roosters tonight.

Cabramatta SS (reinforced by Danny Fualalo and Moses Manu in the latter games) won the 9's today beating Cook Islands in the Final.

Will the Newcastle and Illawarra portions of the Presidents Cup be the full portion of regular contenders?

2019 and prior Wests were the big force (several shifted to Maitland last season). Not sure on the strength of the Illawarra region given that Thirroul and Wests didn't exactly spark last season.

I remember a time where the excess Parramatta NSW Cup squad went to any club they nominated, so Tim Wynn and James Storer went to Seven Hills A Grade. The same situation applied in the following season but Seven Hills had moved up to Jim Beam. Alf Betham went to Mounties and when Jeremy latimore nominated Wenty, he initially found himself in Wenty's 3rd team (A Reserve grade). He thought he wasnt going to get in the Jim Beam team so he enquired about getting traded to Seven Hills. It worked out in end though as he played in Wenty's JB run to the GF,

RMC
Wenty 20 Windsor 18

Wenty were well ahead but Windsor clawed it back in the 2nd half and took the lead only to see Wenty steal it in the final minutes. Tony Williams didnt have much impact but he did play the first 50 minutes. Malakai Houma was powerful all day and scored Windsor's first try. Tyler Cassell did a lot of work and the lock, half and fullback were also influential. Craig Garvey did not play. Jack Wheelhouse played for Wenty and Brett Cook's longtime pony tail has been replaced by a very conservative cut.

Mounties 20 Glebe 14

Fairly clear cut until the last period when Glebe scored 2 converted tries. Greg Eastwood and Jackson Garlick played for Glebe but most of the likely lineup has been playing for Newtown. Mike Pearsall is playing for Glebe. Mounties had half a dozen backing up from yesterday's NSW Cup trial.

Cabramatta 20 Wests 8

SS
Wenty 22 Windsor 4

7 days out, zero draw information. Nothing about the cup from NSWRL other than it being listed as a comp in the season launch.
