Hahaha, this truth rankled a few precious souls. Fact is if not for these 2 errors, the Maoris win last night.
Didn't they have 60% possession? Not converting that ball into points cost the win

Nup, kicking out on the full & then penalty on the line cost the game.Didn't they have 60% possession? Not converting that ball into points cost the win

I do enjoy the efforts some go to though to ignore the obvious.

We choked in the GF and 2 very important players choked in the very next game they played. Yes its a pre season game but its the truth. Anyways apart from that Fish looked as good as ever. Luai took far too much of a backseat to old man Benjilol it’s not ignoring that the plays happened, they obviously did. It’s being realistic on how those plays matter to the Penrith Panthers and the 2021 season, which is 0%.
The first half was a disgrace, and the Storm was given a lot of assistance. I put that down to inexperience, and nerves. They will be better for that experience. We choked in the GF and 2 very important players choked in the very next game they played. Yes its a pre season game but its the truth. The only thing embarrassing is the overreaction to this glorified trial match.
Both guys got some KMs in the legs, expanded their lungs and walked away injury free. Pretty much the best case scenario.
Not true. Current Panthers players have never made a mistake in their entire career. This is what perfection looks like.Hahaha, this truth rankled a few precious souls. Fact is if not for these 2 errors, the Maoris win last night.
But they were so they had to play to the circumstances and they stuffed it with silly mistakes. You can't ignore should never of been in that position to start with though
I don't recall any mention of the Panthers 2021 season. Just a comment made that 2 Panthers players came up with crap execution at the closing stages. I'm actually happy that it was in this Mickey Mouse game rather than for the Panthers. Hopefully they learn from it.lol it’s not ignoring that the plays happened, they obviously did. Players and fans don't get to pick and choose the state of the game. Players need to execute, fans need to be prepared for players to be picked up for these errors. You can't ignore should never of been in that position to start with though
Nah it's just acknowledging mistakes were made and people on here getting offended because they love the team(fair enough). These guys are human and will do dumb things or have errors. The main thing to take out of that game is no injuries and both our boys were very good for 99% of the game. Definitely confident we had a good pre season looking at that.lol it’s not ignoring that the plays happened, they obviously did. FFS. This is weak as piss.Yep lets break the plays down further. Luai wouldn't be taking the kick in that situation. Cleary or Burton would
The JFH one there was no dummy half. He wanted the challenge because felt he went for the ball not the player. So he learns from it for next time
And if they have been perceived as making an error, its not really attributal to the player because they shouldn't be in that position anyway. Not true. Current Panthers players have never made a mistake in their entire career. This is what perfection looks like.
Agree, just funny how many on here get ruffled when players errors are mentioned. It’s basically a trial match in a cobbled together team, who cares if they f**ked up, getting a run under their belt with no injuries is the main thing.
