The news rules had the complete opposite. It showed our fitness, and skill, levels which are far more superior than others. Some people like to complain for the sake of it.

Panthers are supposed to be in the bottom half of the ladder, somewhere between 9 and 12. That is their place. Broncos are supposed to be where we are and Dogs and Manly are supposed to be in the top 8. Anything else is hard to cope with. The comp has to be the same every year.

Thats exactly how fox sports likes it, there's barely mention of how well the panthers are going, and only when they have to talk about it, its only Ben Ikin that talks about them and he always "Marvels" at what they are able to acheive, Paul Kent won't agree, or say shit, it like he has a gag order, that if he mentions how good they are, he'll have pay a fine, hoops and buzz are the worst, they love to pile shit on us any chance they get, and if we smash a team like we did last week, it's "whats happened to Manly?" Ill tell you what happened =we fùcken smash"em, coz we're clinical, as we will do to most shit run clubs, you watch if we beat raiders, it'll be "oh whats doing with the up and down form of the raiders!" or some other dumb excuse, anything but praise

Yep people can't handle that the club has put in the work and earned this.

It's funny Ikin loves us after seeing one of our games live last year. Wonder if he bought a membership lol.

Or watched rugby league in general, instead of reading about the gossip in the game, no wonder the media is clueless, they are all drumming up crap then repeatedly chatting amongst themselves till it turns from gossip to an issue

They apparently have the best defence over the first four rounds since St George in 1975, along with winning 19 straight regular season games, only team ever to start a season keeping opposition to zero for two rounds.
No mention anywhere,
Imagine what it would be like if this was the Roosters or Storm! We would have blanket coverage of it!

Alcohol Buzz hates Penrith by association to Gould, Ivan f**ked Hooper's Tigers and Kent moralised about how Ivan f**ked the Tigers. On the other side we should send Vonny a cheerleader outfit because she's doing the job anyway and Brandy can't keep the twinkle of joy out of his eyes anytime he's on camera. We are no special victims.

Exactly. How low do you have to be to resent us getting a period of success while getting pissy about a potential end to the Storm/Roosters era? merkins, the lot of them.

Probably for the best though. Media hype doesn't confer any special benefits and may even complicate things for the team. We should be grateful we're still flying under the radar in relative terms.

The league should be thankful that we aren’t just towelling all the shit teams but we’re feeding them superstar kids to get out of their holes.

I think unless Cleary has a blinder of a series for the Blues, we could go through the season only dropping a game or two and a heap would still have us behind Melbourne/Easts on the basis of big game experience.

Nope not good, Roosters have built their roster off their great media praise, come play here on the cheap, we can offer no issues and regular GFs, and sports cars. the occasional paperbag in a carpark somewhere far far away and a rolex from head office.
Media types are being paid to have an opinion, that opinion is paid for by whoever wants to pay the highest
