Metcalf hasnt played in 11 months as well...thats a pretty bloody good retun and looks a handy replacement for Moylan.

Was from one of the kick offs in the first half. One of their props took the hit up and singled out Williams and led with an elbow.
He got taken into touch by Nene a few metres later which is what you get for crabbing across field like a bitch like that.

Surprised it wasn’t a penalty but was hard to see it properly

Watched it on Kayo a few times to work out what happened to Jack. Looks like a stray elbow/forearm to the throat. He dropped like a bag of potatoes and was hunched over in a lot of pain for quite a while.

No way would he be NRL fit yet. He said post match he was blowing after 10 minutes. In the future maybe, like near future, rounds 6-12 but I can't see him being in first up.

Besides, he impressed in a second grade trial in reality. I'd like to see him in the next one but that will probably be Tracey and Bubba sharing the role. Could go with 3 I guess.

Fair chance he has a fractured larynx if he was intubated and sedated.

I would assume Metcalf will play in Jets trial as well all the players with limited game time last year need to be playing all trials
