I think it was 100-150K less which would have made it somewhere 8 - 11 th

Very very good when looking at it compared to what other domestic football leagues have managed this year.

@Perth Red's favourite topic of discussion has not had an attendance average so low since the 1990s as it did in 2022 excluding Roni years.

82,415 attended the 2022 NRL Grand Final at Accor Stadium.

It was the 9th-highest crowd out of all NRL Grand Finals played at the Olympic venue since it was reconfigured in 2002, and came in at 507 less than the previous full-capacity decider at the venue in 2019 (82,922 - Roosters v Raiders).

This hasnt always been the case, they changed how they counted it after the first year.

No they count it properly. Every magic round game is a separate game, which is factored into the ticket price and reported by the NRL

They count the amount of scanned tickets at the time of the game, Whether all the people are there or not. It does result in inflated numbers but the seat is sold and it can't be re-sold for those later games. So in that regard it is fine
