With cost being one factor often mentioned in attendance influencers thought Id do a quick comparison for the opening round tickets that re still available. In order of cheapest for an adult and child to attend.
(with booking fee Adult, no booking fee Jnr)

Commbank Eels v Titans
Adult $32-$92
Jnr $10-$65

Bluebet stadium Panthers v Manly (* top price seats sold out)
Adult $36-$66*
Jnr $15-50*

SCG Roosters v Knights
Adult $36-$66
Jnr $15-$30

Qlnd country bank stadium Cowboys v Dogs
Adult $35-$85
Jnr $17-$64

Sunshine Coast Warriors v Dragons
Adult $36-$86
Jnr $20-$86

Commbank Wests v Storm
Adult $37-$67
Jnr $20-$35

GIO Stadium Raiders v Sharks (* top price seats sold out)
Adult $41-$56*
Jnr $25-$32.50*

Suncorp Stadium Broncos v Souths
Adult $46-$120
Jnr $20-$120

What it shows me is we charge far too much for kids to go to NRL games! (well done Eels who are the only club offering a reasonable kids price)
Also interesting that the ticket booking service fee varies by up to $1 despite clubs using same system?
And how expensive it is if you want to go to a game and get a decent seat, especially if you want to take your little one along.

$30+ is too expensive for the cheap seats. GA should be $25 max for adults, kids $5 and $50 for a family. With a handful of exceptions there are empty seats at every game, every club should be looking at making attendance as affordable as possible.

Glad the price of Broncos tickets was mentioned, went looking for decent rd 3 tickets today and nearly fell over at $120 for 25m to 25m lower bowl, same for Friday nights game. The merkins are kidding themselves.

Is it the clubs profiteering or expensive stadium hiring fees & clubs are trying to break even?
Kids should be $10, $5 or free if they belong to a RL club. Adults tickets should start from $20. No way would I be paying $86 to sit in a seat and drink warm over priced beer & soggy chips

The NRL are only responsible for finals & origin. So the issue the governing body needs to either stop clubs charging too much or renegotiate stadium fees. The NRLhad to renegotiate the Titans & Cowboys stadium fees so it’s not unpresidented if they go in on the clubs behalf

It’s a joke. The state governments stadium fees are ludicrous and there is no way around it for the broncos.

In the early 2000s the sidelines were quick to sell and level 7 behind the posts would sell last. Now it’s a total reversal. Level 7 behind the posts is selling and level 3 sideline still has some seats available. Mind you, it used to be $50 an adult for the sideline and $20 behind the posts.

Broncos games are the same price as origin matches in 2012.

I’d like the broncos to renegotiate when the Gabba is renovated. Not that they’d ever leave. But just be a bitch. Also negotiate with Ticketmaster. Ticketek is a POS.

**edit. These are early bird prices too. They increase 25% 48 hours before kickoff.

Just bought tickets for my Brisbane work minions. PAX 36,887. Includes the stadium members, so probably more like an actual crowd of 32k atm. Hopefully good weather tomorrow and it could reach 35-37k.
