If this is supposed to be a throwback to 1992, the white square should be there and they've stuffed it up.
I mean, if you want to get really picky, the sleeves aren't the same either, etc.

Throwback doesn't usually mean the exact same.

Probably for the best, retail version would look a bit strange, people walking around with a huge empty white box on the back

Asics have done a solid job with the kit, sure it's not identical to 92, but it still is instantly recognisable as a Broncos kit inspired by that era.

The white box missing on the back I'm sure was deliberate because as hellteam said, it would look weird without numbers whilst the white stripe on the sleeve as being acknowledged with the white outline on the First Mac sponsorship.

Asics will never print hoops on their side panels simply because they find it too hard to keep the lines straight when the four pieces of fabric are sewn together.

Actually maybe the jersey will have the white sleeve stripe...
I really can’t put my finger on something with this jersey that doesn’t seem right to me- if you were to list a perfect brief into creating the perfect Broncos jersey, they would have ticked every box. I think it might be a different cut collar and/or the side panels and/or a very yellow “gold”….. is it just me????

Did someone say GOLD!!!!
Actually i really like this new old jersey, but I'd much prefer a 1988 style gold ontop with maroon beneath, but these days people don't want to fork out 160 dollarbucks for bright color jerseys.. i would, but most won't, its why teams who have unique colors like tigers or raiders or even storm to some extent, stick with navy or black as their main color above the chest, personally there's nothing better than seeing a rugba leg fan walking the streets wearing a bright orange balmain jersey, or a lime splice raiders jersey! Up the Milk!

Broncos need to do like the Raiders and wear that more often. And keep the collar.
The larger collar of the 90's looks clownishly huge on jerseys with tighter fits. They should have went with a stub collar on the player issue jerseys.

Bought the heritage jersey and its honestly the best fitting RL jersey ive ever owned. I wear small, and both Nike and ISC smalls have always been a bit baggy/loose. That could just be my body type, but even last years Home ASICs jersey was a little big around the sleeves.

But damn the 22 Heritage fits like a hug.

Favourite jersey.

I really don’t like the knights away jersey, but I hate that that they wear it so regularly. I know they’re the ‘away’ team, but their home doesn’t clash with penrith at all. Clubs should be showing off their clubs identity as regularly as possible. I lot of away jerseys annoy me, but the knights really grind my gears. It’s an uninspiring design, worn way too often
