Make it a black shield with golden Telstra Premiership logo and in big bold letters underneath have:
GRAND
FINAL
2022

The NRL has a Grand Final logo, has done every year - I don't see why it wouldn't just be that. Embroidery can go elsewhere

It doesn't. In my initial post on the subject this year, I first suggested a black patch with gold GF logo over the existing Telstra Premiership logo.
It was then that I suggested ANYTHING (including sleeve badge) would be better and more special than just embroidered text on the chest.
