Any explanation how Tevaga is playing for the Maori? Is it like in the old days when they had "guest" players? I had the same question about NAS last year.

Good old Jazz Te Whanga. 😉

Tevaga played four Tests for Samoa at the 2017 World Cup and, after recently confirming his Māori heritage, he says he can’t wait to get out there and have a crack at CommBank Stadium on February 12.

Looks like he's Ngati Porou.

Probably not this year, as apparently Kayo have the broadcast rights for the trials.
Kayo's rights extend to the 16 trials being held between 18th and 28th Feb, not the Wynnum-Brisbane game.

Neither club has indicated anything regarding broadcast as yet for this Saturday.

Should be a decent crowd tonight, just tried to get some silver tickets and they only have singles left.

Only bronze (ends) and gold left.

Dust off those bald wigs and channel your inner Gapewell, first gameday thread of the year!
