Check the Fox ratings. 5 afl games attracted 200,000 less viewers than 3 nrl games. Other data is to come but is becoming clearer that the nrl is far more popular on foxtel/kayo than the other code. This years KAYO numbers has been massively boosted by the Telstra offer of $5 or $15 a month for their customers. Be interesting to see how many continue on after the 12 month runs out and it goes up to $25 a month or more if it gets raised at end of year.
Given the quality of footy this year you’d think they’d keep a good %. Magic round footy was outstanding overall.

Very good point and I was going to make a similar comment. Perth`s comment was purely speculation, but of course it had a negative slant to it or it wouldn`t be Perth.
