and this doesn’t include nz which would add over 7 million more for rugby league and also another 7 million with the phins entry

we can look forward to a tv deal which doesn’t involve Telstra spending a billion in contra

So on summary.... Vlandys has completely f.cked up... I said after a few months of his admin that he'd set the game back 10 years. If he can't get more than the AFL he's tenure has been an abject failure. From what he has done to international league, to the digital sector, the stupid rule changes, and now this...

We must be one of the few companies that has a product more people want to consume but that manages to get a shed load less $'s for it than the competitor!!

I may be getting obsessive about this but I looked at the Wikipaedia citation that the figure of 30 M comes from 2007. AFL house then said the total audience was 172,000,000.
Comment was that this was the likely potential audience if everyone in the benighted countries getting the feed watched.
There is no mention of 30,000,000. This was stuff made up by one of the Wikipaedia Anoraks who tend AFL sites
