There’s less of a gap between NRLW & NRL compared to the AFLW/AFL competition.
Partly due to afl being a shit game

They couldn’t be further apart. Our game is much more suited to females. AFLW is honestly the worst sport I’ve ever seen. I’d say 60-70% of their players have no place in the sport. Clearly the fields are too big and they need to lose 4-5 players for it to work.

I thought the NRLW would be good but it’s blown me away with the quality. They’ve been smart keeping the teams low, it does worry me going from 4-10 teams within 2 years. I think a big advantage we have is that so many girls grow up playing touch and oztag. Kira Dibb was a touch player, only came to league about 3-4years ago.

It’s genuinely good to watch, the players aren’t over coached and it reminds me of footy in the 80s/90s before everything became so structured.

Can we get the Eels’ centre to teach our backs how to defend on the goal line? That’s f**king impressive. Again.

Also the players really want to be there. There’s no fame or fortune being an NRLW player. It’s a breath of fresh air really.

Also go the knights!

Which is weird considering you'd think that fumbling a ball is a gender neutral skill (or lack thereof).
