I note that there were NSWRL previews for only 10 of the 12 clubs playing in the NSW Cup posted here, with Canterbury and Mounties omitted. Since the Canterbury website shows Mounties players as their NSW Cup squad, I had a look at the Canterbury teams for the first 3 rounds and found 12 players in each game from outside the top 30, so it appears that the Canterbury 2nd tier squad is:

Credence Toia, Jacob Kiraz, Declan Casey, Eli Clark, Isaac Lumelume, Jayden Tanner, Phillip Makatoa, Josh Stuckey, Zach Docker Clay, Billy Tsikrikas, Kurtis Morrin, Harrison Edwards.

Anyone aware of any others?

Correct, Mounties running their own team.
The Mounties player profiles are listed on the Bulldogs website, so there's definitely an affiliation remaining there. Several players in the lineup have played in the Bulldogs system in the last few years.

They still wear the Bulldogs badge and they have taken a couple of Canterbury castoffs but dont you think the website might be waiting for someone to correct it? - none of the Bulldogs 2nd tier players that actually play NSW Cup for Canterbury (as named above) are listed on the website. Ryan Gray can be added to the Bulldogs list and he mainly plays SS for Moorebank.

If the games at Aubrey Keech go ahead tomorrow it will be the only chance to see blue & white among the crowd this season.

Might be a few blue and white in the crowd this Saturday 😉

(and again the following weekend when inexplicably they meet for the second time this season, at Belmore)

Is this in support of your proposition that Mounties are the NSW Cup team for Canterbury and the Canterbury NSW Cup team is a figment of peoples imagination? - not very convincing when the Canterbury NSW Cup team appears in your post.

As my previous post stated Mounties still wear the Canterbury badge - some "mentoring garbage" - but the Mounties team has nothing to do with Canterbury selections. Canterbury is a wealthy club but maybe Mounties will take them over in time.

I did you a favour by detailing who is in the Canterbury 2nd tier squad. It doesnt appear anywhere on the net and you did not publish it even though you wear the jersey.

Panthers and the Jets the teams to beat so far with the Eels, Bulldogs and Bears close behind.

Pretty even competition but Sea Eagles and Magpies lacking depth in their squads to compete week to week.

Manly will be with Blacktown again in 2023. Greg Boulous has been appointed coach of the NSW Cup team. Manly will be running the whole thing.
