Well he got one thing right. Starting Api. Has been the best NSW 9 for a couple seasons now.

From the 17 he named. RCG in for Jurbo. Matterson in for Martin. Would make the pack a hell of a lot better IMO. Add a bit of size and more metres in each collision.

Martin is a good club player in average form. Jurbo was a good club player years ago in average form.

Cook off the bench seems silly when his form has been poor and Hynes covers more positions and is in fantastic form. But hopefully a fresh Cook can add some spark from the bench.

Jurbo and Haumole should've been there game 1. Jurbo will provide effort in the Cotter mould, not try and pad stats. Haumole has been a handful all season for Manly. What does Freddy see that makes him think he's unsuitable for Origin?

Great call by Freddy putting Cook on the bench. Not only is he a specialist hooker, but with his beach sprint training, it's obvious to a good coach that he can also cover the wing position.
