QLD's kicking game was far better than NSW's one, they kicked it deep put so much pressure on NSW. The blues kept persisting on big bombs expecting a drop ball all the time. No real pressure.

It was just a good game of footy.

I think the mix of youth has really ignited the origin game. Bit of biff didnt hurt either.

I really felt Paulo should have come off the bench with Cook coming on much earlier.

S.Crichton is a very good player, he’ll be better in years to come. Can’t expect centres to do much without early ball. Defence is typically better at Penrith than what I’ve seen this series. He will be back one day but not with Turbo and Latrell lurking.

Critchon, Too-poo, and Talakai were the difference in their awful errors. Self inflicted pressure gave Qld the momentum which led to NSW getting gassed. Congrats to the Qld fans, a well deserved victory.

I said this after game 1... luai I think is in a sensational club team so his form is overstated. For me origin is a bit above his talent level but at least he tries and looks interested.

Cleary on the other hand is apparently this once in a generation talent who is meant to be the best half and some say best player in the game but continuously shits the bed in tight games. Mitchell Pearce copped flack for many years but he was never labelled a generational talent and no one thought he was anything other than the 3rd, 4th or even 5th best half on the field in any given origin game he played.
