Agreed.

Yet, Jurbo has been bagged at every possible opportunity

My issue with Jurbo was he looks like he's past that for Manly. Bloke just looks fat and slow and gives away six agains like Halloween candy

But he was much better than he looks for you blokes on both Origin games, so I'll take the L there

Hahhaha.

this is the funniest thing I’ve read all night

his kicking game late in the second half was the difference

when the game was to be won he did it for qld whilst Cleary went mia
You’re easily amused.

His kicks weren’t the difference. They were just the expected level of play for a halfback at this level.

The difference was the special plays from qld’s middle, Ponga and Hunt.

Lol you said the same crap after game 1.

Teddy was far and away NSW best tonight and it wasn't even close. He constantly had QLD on the back foot, breaking tackles and making quick play the balls. Not his fault the dogshit halves couldn't do anything with it.
Thats not the role of a fullback. If that was the case you might as well put To'o at fullback

He is not connecting with playmakers and he has gone from clean breaks a few years ago to just making hit ups. Nobody stays elite forever

Maybe he can play on wing but he should be behind Turbo and Papenhuyzen next year assuming one of those two can go uninjured for a month

Really fun and exciting game. Surprised they didn't talk up the QLD spirit like they always used to because for once it actually applied here. That QLD team had no right to win tonight, on paper they're far worse. They lost their star player in the build up and lost 2 players early in the game. They looked on their feet after like 20 minutes and the game looked set to be a blowout. To come back and win like that was an enormous effort.

IMO a lot of the blame HAS to go to NSW halves. Our forward pack dominated and our backs were eating meters like crazy. We had so much possession and so much good field position and our halves simply couldn't create anything. It was the exact same shit that the likes of Pearce were criticized endlessly for even though they were losing close series against the greatest QLD team ever not this team of plods.

Also Fittler has a lot to answer for. Some mind numbingly braindead selections yet again, it takes some effort to manage to lose a series with his level of advantage.
Sir Teddy: 29 runs, 285 run metres, 67 post contact metres, 6 tackle breaks and 1 line break.

Definitely his fault NSW lost.

Meanwhile his garbage halves couldn't muster a single line break or line break assist between them.
Seriously anyone blaming Teddy for this loss needs their head read. Dude f**king carved up all game and was a big reason why NSW was on top for most of the game. He needed more support.

TBF the defence had him covered, had no one to pass to most of the time
And this is what I hate about TV coverage is not being able to view the wide angle of the ruck for the viewer to check to see if both sides are onside. It was as if Qld were right on top of us after the first pass off the ruck. The TV coverage, whether SOO or club matches always have this habit of zooming right in on the play which screws up ones perspective.
