Ive got my Cronulla bias on now anyone whos blaming Talakai for the loss needs there head read...After all 2 mistakes cost NSW dearly tonite / Topou and Chriton.

Well thats just luck that Talakai's didn't lead to a try now isn't it? I mean it's not as if he didn't anything different to those 2 players post mistake to prevent a try.

Talakai was awful.

NSW ultimately suffering from the captain's ball hog syndrome that seems to get into the habit of every NSW captain.

Tedesco taking a lead right out of Paul Gallen's book. Hey he makes 200 meters, so just run it up the middle and hope something happens. Has lost the speed to make a clean break anymore so just run, run run. Forget about passing

Hope Murray doesn’t fall into the same trap when he inevitably takes the crown.

This loss is clearly Latrell's fault for selfishly opting not to play. I'm being sarcastic but somewhere someone will throw this out there. Probably Crawley.

not his fault but does show mentality of NSW players in general over qld . A qlder Wouldn’t do it .

but I applaud latrell for not playing . The amount of shit he cops he did right thing putting club above state .

The fat bloke was shocking come off it. Between missing tackles to dropping balls what did he do right? Bloke has played one decent half against Manly and somehow gets a gig
Joey likes the smell of him apparently.
I reckon he is average as f**k

Talakai was awful.

He was lost for the Ponga try too.

Poor team selection. They pick Burton over Wighton yet he gets no ball. Only did 1 kick. Just so dumb across the park

Lol you said the same crap after game 1.

Teddy was far and away NSW best tonight and it wasn't even close. He constantly had QLD on the back foot, breaking tackles and making quick play the balls. Not his fault the dogshit halves couldn't do anything with it.

I totally agree with you he can be but not now...

I just don't reckon he's the right style of player for Origin?

Like I said earlier, look at the guys QLD bring in. It's not Dave Fifita, even with a zillion injuries. It's guys like Tom Gilbert, Pat Carrigan, who are just fit, happy to get dirty, and rumble all day. Especially in the pack.

That goes a long way towards winning them games. They don't care about flash or power, they care about outlasting the other bloke. The occasion lifts these tough hard working blokes and they pick just enough spice to produce something when it's needed.

It's not pashun, it's just smarter. Which should be insulting to Freddy but...I mean?

Yep. They always want it more. It’s hard to deny.
IDK about that. They have a tendency to fold badly when NSW get the upper hand. In a closer game (like tonight) then they're a chance but what cost the Blues tonight were some poor turnovers when coming out of their half and 50/50's not going their way when they had the opportunity to get into their end of the field.

NSW seems pretty vicious and petty from an administrative level. Bit like Jamie Lyon I suppose.
