Can South's PLEASE use Josh Mansour. I really rate Staines as a chance at bagging 4 tries in his finals debut when Josh rushes out and missed leaving him with a clear path to the try line.

Between that and f**king up Cleary bombs I would actually have no stress for this game. Be looking at 50 odd.

Even with Souths looking a bit low on troops. I'm a bit weary of what the few remaining stars can do being fuelled by a grand final loss

Realistically they should not be in the game by the 60th minute if everyone plays as expected on paper. But if Panthers are slightly off and the likes of Mitchell, Walker, Cook, Arrow, Murray etc. All have career best games they could definitely be in for a chance at an upset. So long as the spine is at or near full strength. The rest of the boys just need to do a job.

Sportsbet are pretty f**king smug.

Panthers vs Field betting has Panthers as $1.80 over the remaining 3 teams at $2.

They haven't even qualified for the grand final yet

Did you not see JD's presser? After him explaining why Kennar was picked...

Journo: "Where's Josh Mansour today?"
JD: "I dunno"

No i missed it. Just saw Johnston was out on the late mail on nrl.com

The only explanation needed is he's not Mansour.

But 3 tries in one game this season isn't bad. Scary to think if Johnston plays he likely scores those 3 if not more and would sit on 33 for the year

Penrith will need to be careful not to give Klein a reason to make this closer than it should be. Given where the teams are at we should win and win well, but we will still need to play a disciplined and smart game.

Discipline and complacency are our two biggest threats.

AJ has been good, but almost all the time, he’s received the good ball and more space than there is in the solar system. Strolls over easily, a dive for theatre and romance but nothing too onerous.

So I don’t think his omission should impact the bunnies too much.

Its not an excuse.

Word at work is that bunnies are a real chance. I respectfully disagree.

Is there such a thing as a smug overdose?

Simply go and review Penrith's last game V Parra. Now you realise what is going to happen on Saturday night purely going by that form.

Occam's Razor will apply, unlike tonight's match between Parra and Cows.

The real grand final. Whoever wins this will win the grand final.

I love AJ. He is an outstanding finisher. But I actually think Kennar is an advantage in one way, he gives us more bulk coming out of our end. The one weakness in AJ's game is that 1st tackle in a set when it is his hit up he will often get beaten in the tackle, that leads to a slow play the ball, that leads to an uphill set.

We are obviously underdogs. The Panthers are the best team in the comp for 2 years. But if we do knock them off I am confident we win next week.

Rectal shoom shumming at that. What ever happened to Big Country. Death by snu snu?
I forgot the rectal clarification. It was only a mild flashback triggered by someone posting about 21 or big 21.

No idea what happened to that individual, but I can't imagine their demise was anything other than you put forward.
