Sin bin is a non event in trials with the offender being replaced, but your point is still valid.

Its interesting how the refs let the players get away with so much because its a "trial" but for the fans, its just as much about the refereeing performance that it looks embarrassing when the game gets managed differently.

I'd have thought it was a trial run for the referees also but hey, NRL does what NRL does.

The tigers attack has actually been pretty good. There is a definite structure there we haven’t seen in years. A lot of width, the forwards are passing and we’ve got our both centers on the outside of their opposite multiple times each.

The Roosters defence is excellent and we don’t have the polish of other teams, plus it’s torrential rain, however I’ve been happy with the changes I’m seeing in attack.

Ben Gardiner is the new attack coach and I can see why many people say he is a first grade coach in waiting

Online defence on the other hand …
