They finally released Dune on cheap Vod so watched that tonight.

Given the result is Bennett now 5/5 with trashing clubs on the way out?

Damien Cook didn't look himself. It's only one game so probably best not to look into it too much, but it's definitely something to keep an eye on over the next few weeks.

I think Cookie hasn’t been the same player for a couple of years. Back when Seibold was coach he would get out of dummy-half 5/6 times a game and he was amazing. Hasn’t seemed to be able to make those darts as consistently in the big games recently.

The 2 big things I noticed were it looks like Souffs are going to get treated like most other clubs now and get penalised when they infringe. Its great that hasn't happened since probably 2010. Walker is a media myth and without everyone else doing a good job he is not much. Still throws a great intercept though.

Kevvie seems to have changed the culture, they actually seemed to want to play and Staggs is still crap, why Souffs didn't target him more in defense is beyond me.

South Sydney looked like a disinterested unit last night and rudderless without Reynolds. They were very ill-disciplined, too. I wouldn't be surprised if their hearts just aren't in it now they don't have Bennett keeping them on a tight leash. The old man is intimidating and keeps players on their toes. Last night I saw a bunch of blokes who looked like they're happy to relax for the first time in years because they're no longer under lock and key. Demetriou will have a tough time getting players to buy in.
