I love these blanket statements.

Penrith were full-strength.

A very unsettled prep for Melbourne, without two of their usual spine players, one of them ruled out several hours before the match. Their attack was mistimed and clunky which was expected. Wishart was off-tempo on several of his push support plays where Paps would be on the beat. He also made several handling errors in a position he rarely plays on a wet night. Johns was tasked to defend the right edge because everything attack wise went through Munster. I doubt these guys have taken too many reps in these positions. Lots of uncharacteristic errors which is unsurprising when new players who don't normally drive the attack are brought in.

Bellamy usually gets it right but he got it very wrong this time. The 'system' philosophy fell apart. If Hughes had an injury cloud, Bellamy should've accounted for it with his 19-man squad and had an OB there. Play Meany where he was named, and brought Tyran into HB when Hughes was ruled out, and the replacement OB on the wing.
Bit of cutting & pasting there buddy as noted by the different text styles.

Anyway, gotta remember that the Panthers were without Cleary for the first 4 weeks, and To'o and Leota for the first 6 weeks, yet the talk is about the Storm who were without a few players, and it's their bad management that they couldn't handle the situation as we have beendoing for the past 2 or so years..

Every time this Storm side kicked the crap out of a side all year, did anyone go to the same lengths in mentioning the players out for those teams who faced the Storm...no big song and dance like Corey Parker is headlining? Nah, not at all.

Text styles? Elaborate, champ!

Comprehension isn't a strength of yours, pal. Insecurities as a Panthers fan is though. Penrith would've trained in pre-season with O'Sullivan taking plenty of reps. Melbourne lost two players in their spine in a week, one a few hours pre-game. Their replacements were odd and the game was lost before kick off. That's all I am noting. Penrith got the win. The rest is moot. Hopefully the return bout in rd 22 features these spine players so rugby league is the winner.
