Really concerning though that Kikau is being given free range to through shoulder charges though. His one tonight comes after he has thrown multiple this season... Or did the NRL change the rule and only tell Penrith?
Kikau has been charged. Your player was fine anyway. What was really concerning was the psychotic assault on Crighton. If the headbutt hadn't knocked him down, the wild swinging arm would have. It was a careless desperate act. The moron should have been sent off. Don't give me this Penrith favouritism shit.

In fairness as a neutral I hate that Finucane tackle.

I don't get how we can (rightly IMO) penalise that if he's just thrown the pass but not if he holds it. Like the chat in a (Dragons?) match day thread a week or two ago, Finucane isn't making any attempt at a tackle. He's just come out like a missile looking to smash into Crichton however he can and he's real lucky the swing arm misses.

If we're going to penalising incidental high tackles, and it we've banned shoulder charges, then we should also be looking to rub out careless tekkers like that IMO. And there will always be thickskulls who say "hurr durr penalty for tackling too hard" but I defy anyone to call a hit like that a tackle.

You can rattle blokes with a perfectly fine, hard tackle. It just strikes me as unnecessary to act like a human cannonball

This is pretty much my view.

There was zero control in what Finucane was doing.

It may have ended up a head clash but was a camera frame from being either a shoulder or swinging arm to the head.

Compare Olam folding Walker.

That is the issue with tackles like that. Never was an attempt made to make an actual tackle

Sharks had one of their worst completion rates of the season and only lost by 10 (with a try at the end), so not too disappointed.

Sharks couldn't score for the last 69 minutes of the game, which underlines the control that Penrith had once they settled down.

Cronulla tried their hardest, but they are still away behind the better clubs, if any.
