I agree but the ruck was messy all night, from both teams. The night before was the same. Seems like the refs are going to be less diligent in this area this year.

So it seems like the talking heads have got there way following all the ‘blowouts’. And Jesus wept.

The rucks have been dreadful this year. Messy, laying all over, players coming in late to slow things down and tacklers deliberately lingering in the ruck to reduce the dummy half's options.
As you say, it seems like the commentators have won.

I still can’t get over the late hit on the kicking half sin bin hypocrisy. It was plain as day that the exact same thing happened to Ben Hunt late in the second half but it wasn’t a sin bin.
It’s blatant favouritism of the top teams (ala Storm getting the run of the green for many years, looks like it’s the Panthers turn)
