Does anyone else reckon Newcastle are one of the most protected clubs in the game thanks to Johns Brothers Inc.

The knights get a free pass every year from the media due to influence the johns boys have in the sydney media.

They didnt cop the heat in 2015-2017 when they were last like these other clubs like tigers and dogs cop. The excuse was Bennett left them in a mess which was true to an extent.

But in reality they were the only club Bennett really failed at.

They should have achieved more with that squad post 2018 and look set for another season of mediocrity yet there is never any pressure on them after constant inconsistency.

There fans have every right to be filthy.
