Rumour that Campbell Graham has a fractured cheekbone and will be out 8 weeks if true it’s a massive blow we can’t take a trick.

Ugly cannonball tackle ends Season of Souths prop as Eels player faces three-game ban: https://www.foxsports.com.au/nrl/nr...a/news-story/ab50c9a91b66aea2512a07b92efa4b08

Carnage at Redfern as NRL trio suffer injuries

The South Sydney Rabbitohs will find themselves needing plenty of replacements for their Round 17 clash against the Newcastle Knights, with all of Campbell Graham, Hame Sele and Mark Nicholls likely to be ruled out due to injury.

Graham is reported to be the most severe of the trio, suffering a reported facial fracture during Saturday night's win over the Parramatta Eels at a wet and windy Homebush.

Despite passing his HIA during the game after being pulled from the field, he is now set to spend time on the sidelines waiting for the fracture to heal.

Despite that, NRL Physio claims most facial fractures tend to heal within three or four weeks, so it could yet be a quicker return to the park than anticipated for Graham.

Hame Sele is also believed to be set to miss between four and six weeks with injury in a blow to the Rabbitohs' forward stocks, while Mark Nicholls will race to clear concussion protocols.

The news of the triple injury blow follows that of Liam Knight this morning, who has suffered a season-ending ACL injury after a cannonball style tackle from Solomone Naiduki in the NSW Cup on Saturday.

It's tipped that Thomas Burgess will return to stat at prop for Hame Sele, while two out of Trent Peoples, Davvy Moale and Michael Chee Kam will make their way onto the interchange bench.

Graham, on the other hand, is likely to be directly replaced by last week's 18th man Taane Milne.

South Sydney will name their tea to play the Newcastle Knights at 4pm (AEST) on Tuesday afternoon.

Gutted with all of those!!

So to sum up, that's Graham gone for anywhere between 3-8 weeks, Sele gone for 4-6 and Knighty gone for the Season.

Just terrible, terrible news. Stretch is obviously the big loss, that one really shatters me.

just when things were starting to come together too!! We have no luck, I'm gutted.

Graham, Knight and Sele Rehab Report: https://www.rabbitohs.com.au/news/2022/07/05/graham-knight-and-sele-rehab-report/

All injuries officially confirmed. Obviously terrible news for all and I'm still gutted.

However, I'm hoping the fact that they've called Campbell's injury a 'slight' fracture is a good sign that it's not too bad and he won't be out for too long. They also haven't put an official timeframe on it so I'm assuming that's good news? Well, this is what I'm hoping anyway.

From Zero Tackle. Far out this is the last thing we needed! God, I hope he's good to go,

Rabbitohs injury problems grow with star in doubt for Knights clash

South Sydney Rabbitohs flier Alex Johnston is in doubt for this weekend's clash with the Newcastle Knights with a reported quad injury.

A short turnaround won't be helping Johnston's cause, with the Rabbitohs having played last Saturday night in a win against the Parramatta Eels in adverse conditions, only to have to back up this Friday to play the Newcastle Knights.

It is reported that he has suffered an injury and is now racing the clock to line up for his team on Friday evening.

The injury news regarding their star winger, who has scored a staggering 16 tries in 15 games already this season, with 10 of those coming in his last 6 games, was the last thing South Sydney needed.

Missing Jai Arrow, Damien Cook and Cameron Murray to State of Origin, they have also been brought undone by a potential quadruple injury blow for Round 17.

While veteran Dolphins-bound prop Mark Nicholls is still a chance to play as he battles concussion protocols on the shortest possible turnaround to pass them, centre Campbell Graham, and forwards Hame Sele and Liam Knight have all suffered longer-term injuries.

Graham, who has been replaced by Taane Milne, has suffered a facial fracture which could keep him out for up to six weeks on the run to the finals, while Sele has suffered a groin injury which will see him sidelined for between four and six weeks.

Knight, who hasn't been playing first grade in recent weeks, could have been called up this week given the number of outs, but had his season brought to an end by a cannonball tackle in the NSW Cup last week, with an ACL injury set to see him sidelined for virtually all of next year's pre-season.

Should Johnston be out, then it's tipped Richard Kennar would come into the side after he made the 22-man squad yesterday. Michael Chee-Kam could be another option to play in the centres after being named on the bench, with Milne pushing out to the wing.

The other reserves - one of whom could come onto the bench if Chee-Kam starts - are halfback Dean Hawkins, and forwards Shaquai Mitchell, Ben Lovett, as well as recent signing Daniel Suluka-Fifita.

So glad Trell and Tom did not get charged last night nothing much in them. To all the idiots carrying on out there that Trell should miss 1-2 weeks get it up ya I say!

Common sense prevails for a change!
The Knights winger took a dive and should have been charged.
He was always going to pass his HIA 😉
