Surprised RCG made it tbh... and not surprised our other players aren't there.

And with Edwards and Hynes on stand-by, it probably shows the squad was already pencilled in before last week's awards and yesterday's annihilation....

Kangaroos squad:

Josh Addo-Carr (Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs)
Matt Burton (Canterbury-Bankstown Bulldogs)
Reagan Campbell-Gillard (Parramatta Eels)
Pat Carrigan (Brisbane Broncos)
Daly Cherry-Evans (Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles)
Nathan Cleary (Penrith Panthers)
Lindsay Collins (Sydney City Roosters)
Reuben Cotter (North Queensland Cowboys)
Angus Crichton (Sydney City Roosters)
Tino Fa’asuamaleaui (Gold Coast Titans)
Campbell Graham (South Sydney Rabbitohs)
Harry Grant (Melbourne Storm)
Valentine Holmes (North Queensland Cowboys)
Ben Hunt (St George-Illawarra Dragons)
Latrell Mitchell (South Sydney Rabbitohs)
Cameron Munster (Melbourne Storm)
Cameron Murray (South Sydney Rabbitohs)
Jeremiah Nanai (North Queensland Cowboys)
Murray Taulagi (North Queensland Cowboys)
James Tedesco (Sydney City Roosters)
Jake Trbojevic (Manly-Warringah Sea Eagles)
Jack Wighton (Canberra Raiders)
Isaah Yeo (Penrith Panthers)

Stand by:
Dylan Edwards (Penrith Panthers)
Nicho Hynes (Cronulla-Sutherland Sharks)
Damien Cook (South Sydney Rabbitohs)

gutho and matto
Gutho broke his hand a few weeks back. I doubt he would be fit.

I reckon Dylan Edwards is ahead of him now anyway on the pecking order.

Matto i don't think was any chance Australia have plenty of back rowers ahead of him.

I hope someone reminds the Tigers Papali'i is in England for the WC.

He won't be there for start of pre-season.

In case they send out a search party.

Cook Islands yet to name their squad.... but is expected that Makahesi Makatoa gets a run, along perhaps with ex-Eels Brad Takairangi, Tepai Moreoa and Kenny Edwards?

*Marata Niukore (New Zealand)
*Isaiah Papali'i (New Zealand)

Being a life long Dragons supporter reckon JDB continues to get a crook deal from rep selectors. I see his omission from SOO and the 'Roos as purely a political one. As for our only choice, Ben Hunt.. lucky.

Our Dally M winner did not even make the squad. Should have been the bench utility at the very least. Check out Nicho's imposing season stats. Wish the Dragons had him.
